Round Butte Fish Hatchery Chiller

This project removed the existing chiller system and installed a new modular chiller building system by Envirosep containing Carrier chillers.

This project required a new concrete pad for the building, installation of air-cooled condensers including structural framing and foundations, condenser piping system, and six-inch chilled water piping and supports to the hatchery building.

The work took place in a short shut-down window in the operating fish hatchery to ensure the hatchery had the correct temperature chilled water for maintaining fish rearing. We performed as much off-critical-path work as possible to ensure the shortest critical shut-down duration. We were required to surgically remove the existing chiller system in case there were issues commissioning the new owner procured Envirosep system.
